Storm blinked, tilting his head to one side as he listened to the shecat, Gingeroot. He dipped his head respectfully and made a faint scraping noise on the hard cement with one forepaw, signaling for her to lift her injured paw. He sniffed at it, then turned and padded back to the wall. He parted his jaws slightly, then stood on his hind legs with one forepaw on the cracked cement wall, reaching the other toward a large crack high in the wall. He pulled a few leaves from the wall, and padded back toward Gingeroot, muttering Should've kept those lower. Need them too often. He touched the tip of his tail gently to Gingeroot's injured paw, and flicked his tail at Gypsy before bending down to chew some of the leaves.
Gypsy took a step toward Gingeroot as the shecat cried out, then stopped as Storm reached the Medicine Wall, and sat. She watched her brother gather herbs, then stood and padded toward her friend again. She smiled wryly, and touched her tail-tip to her friend's shoulder. I don't know if you're used to this or not, but Storm kinda overdoes it sometimes. She blinked at her brother, and directed her words toward him You might try marigold, Storm. It's not that bad. She purred with amusement, and pulled the horsetail from her brother's jaws. She waved her tail slightly, acknowledging Storm's signal, and sniffed at the black tom's herb store. She narrowed her eyes slightly, then licked her paw and dabbed it in a pile of tiny black seeds, shaking off most of them. She carried the extras toward where Storm was inspecting her friend's paw, and smiled, murmuring It won't hurt much. Her face fell slightly as she added quietly, He's done this a lot. She shuddered slightly, then shook her pelt and sat next to the two cats, curling her tail neatly around her white paws.

(I hope you don't mind if Briar joins. Briar=blue Gingeroot= orange
Briar smelled the fresh scent of Gingeroot close by. He followed her scent through the damp tunnel and arrived at an opening. He slipped through into view and spotted Gingeroot. "Thought you could run from Briar didn't you, precious? Well, you fail like a drop of water trying to put out a fire! Now your mine!" he hissed in truimph. As he inched closer he could see her tremble.
Gingeroot heard a cat coming through the tunnel and then smelled the presence of Briar. She took a few steps back as he stepped through the hole and then she franticly searched for a way out. As he hissed in victory she was sure he could see her tremble and she cried, "NO! YOU EVIL CAT NO!!!"
Briar was a bit taked aback. "Yes!" he hissed. "YES! tremble you worthless she-cat tremble!" He threw back his head and his eyes gleamed nastily.
Gingeroot yelped and cowered under his glare then lashed out an unsheathed claw.

Storm stiffens as a third cat enters his den, and bristles as he recognises the scent of another tom. Who are you and why are you here? He hissed softly. He growled and stepped between the new cat and Gingeroot, keeping his paws light, and ready to spring at any second. His claws slid in and out as he stared at the tom. His tail lashed, and he glanced at his sister before turning his clouded white gaze back to Briar.
Gypsy froze and glanced nervously behind her as the tom entered the den, and dropped the seeds. Her snowy fur bristled slightly as she stared nervously at the tom and mewed softly Gingeroot, who is this? And how did he know you were here? She touched her tail to her brother's shoulder, warning him not to do anything he might regret later, then flicked her tail at Gingeroot and moved toward the larger opening in the den. She blinked at Gingeroot and mewed softly Don't leave the den. Briar's blocking the tunnel, and if we go through here, the humans'll see you. She gestured toward the ragged hole as she spoke, glancing nervously between the two entrances.

Briar watched them all and laughed. "Ha! I am Briar and I am here for all of you! Come with me and you will be leaders of the lake! But if you refuse, take a second look at my claws, they may be the last thing you ever see." He jumped over to Gingeroot and grabbed her by the scruff of the neck. "But you," he said with his mouth full of fur. "You are going to be my eternal servant and I am going to tourture you until the day you die!"
Gingeroot felt his teeth on her neck. She knew he was humongous. She screeched, "Run! Run as fast as you can and leave me! You might have a chance! He'll torture you!" With those words she fought against the giant cat helplessly.

Storm yowled and leaped toward the huge tom, sinking sharp white fangs into his hind leg. His ears lay flat against his head as he lashed his tail, reaching unsheathed claws toward Briar's eyes, then feinting away from the huge tom. He circled Briar, searching franticly for a weakness. He's too big! He thought Our only chance is to outnumber and confuse him. His head jerked up, white eyes flaring with alarm as the familiar, terrifying thud of the humans' feet reached his ears. He felt the plaster of the wall shaking under his feet, and shot a glance at Gypsy. To have the humans find them now would mean torture worse than death. He shuddered as the still-fresh wounds in his side twinged painfuly, then turned his attention back to Briar. Gypsy skidded away as Briar leaped foreward, grabbing Gingeroot's neck in his jaws. She watched Storm leap foreward, and yowled after him Storm, no! You don't have a chance! He'll kill you! She hissed and leaped at the tom, hoping to confuse him, or at least draw his attention away from her brother. She turned blazing eyes to her brother and hissed You're blinkd you idiot! Her ears flattened as she growled quietly Remember when I told you about the forest cats? She doged away from Briar, then leaped at him again, from the opposite side of her brother, and lashed a paw toward his ears before hissing Well guess what. Apprentices don't usually battle full-grown warriors or rouges without training! She jumped in surprise as a huge foot kicked into the tunnel, and leaped away from the wall as it exploded into a cloud of dust. The humans had found them! ((cheezy. Oh well.))

Talon had left the kittypet at his den, he heard the cries from a distance. His golden pelt was hidden among the few shadows, he heard the tom's name, Briar.. I like this cat. he walked up behind the tom and without fear spoke, Briar? What have you in my terra? he boomed. He seemed almost as tall as him but not quite. He was a massive cat, this Briar. Talon would stand up to this tom, though.
His blood stayed warm for the moment, this cat hasn't scared him yet. Though he should save this, Gingeroot. The few cats around Briar seemed ready to fight, he may be on their side, maybe not.

Briar had already sensed the new cat coming. He felt Storm's teeth in his hind leg, and his claws on his eyes. As blood trickled down his muzzle, he leapt onto Storm, furious, his blood trickled onto the other cats fur. "Mistake!" he hissed, and then backed off surprisingly. "Perhaps we should introduce ourselves first. You know I am Briar, but, who are you three?" He turned his gaze on Talon. "Ah, Talon, is it not? I've been wating for you, but not to hurt you. You, I have heard, are plotting against the clans, well, I the same. I have thought, maybe we could unite." Briar then turned to Gingeroot. "Run, run as fast as you can out of here and leave me! You are no use! I will hunt you another day." Then he looked back at Gypsy and Storm. "You two, fight me if you must, but, if you join me, you will have me on your side. I can kill, and I can be bloodthirsty. Yet, I can be an allie..." His gaze turned evil and he sat. he didn't want to tear the snowy she-cat to shreads, she was to pretty for bloodshed.
Gingeroot was alarmed when Briar dropped her. She backed off to sit beside Gypsy. Her eyes were full of fear but she couldn't leave her friend and Storm.

A looming figure appeared on a wall nearby, newer to the area, but not lost. His silvery eyes showed evil and no mercy. The silver pelt of the rogue gleamed as he slinked along silently. "I couldn't help but to here of sides being chosen, mind if I can be included in this little conversation from here on out?" he hissed politly, venom dripping off every word and able to chill any cat to the bone. Venom, the polite but murderous rogue, leaped down and approched the other two cats. "You are Brair, correct? You and I might be able to get along... My name is Venom, and I feel that you and I, like I just said, should become allies..." he said cooly. This Brair was much larger than he, but Venom knew that being small was just fine with his style. If they partnered up, they'd be unstoppable.

Storm raked at Briar's belly with his hind legs, then jumped to his feet, confused. Why had Briar let him go so easily? "Perhaps we should introduce ourselves first. You know I am Briar, but, who are you three?" Storm's ears flattened at the huge tom's words, and he growled menacingly, moving to stand defensively in front of his sister. " You two, fight me if you must, but, if you join me, you will have me on your side. I can kill, and I can be bloodthirsty. Yet, I can be an allie.." Storm's lip curled at Briar's added words. Never! The word was hissed loudly as he leaped toward the tom again, with unsheathed claws. Gypsy crouched warily as another strange tom entered the den, and clawed nervously at the rough string around her neck. The space was becoming too crowded. Soon enough, one of them would fall through the entrance, and the humans would discover them all. She shuddered at the thought, then leaped to her paws as her brother hurled himself at Briar once more. She grasped the small tom's black neck in her teeth, and pulled backward before stepping between the toms, and meowing sweetly to Briar Must we fight? Wouldn't it be better to be allies than enimies? She flicked her tail at Gingeroot and Storm, willing them to be silent. She would join Briar if she had to, but now she was just buying time.((ok, people, remember that these cats are inside a wall!!! There isn't much room! Not many more cats can fit--Especially if they're huge!! The den was made for two very small six-moon-old cats! not a group of huge full-growns!))

Briar fixed his gaze on Venom and said, "Ah, a smart one. Venom here, he has chosen the right path. Unlike this unfortunant little fellow over here..." He flicked his tail towards Storm. "why don't you listen to your precious sister? Now, we are finally getting somewhere. But, say Talon(forgot to add this in other post), you call it your terra, yours? Well I have my buisness and then I leave. I will pick no fight with you, just with the clans." His face twisted into a crooked grin. He stuck out a paw and batted Storm aside. Then he looked towards Venom, "You and I are alike, you may be smaller than I but you, my comrade, are more, lets say, you look sleek and quick." Briar sat and looked at Storm.

Venom liked this Briar, he was very calm and collected, much like himself, and wanted revenge, or at least the death of the clans. "Yes Talon, I just heard the ruckuss and wanted to check it out. I shall leave at the time Briar does and you," he flicked his tail at Storm, "You might want to rethink your choice. You are now against a large powerful cat and a small fast cat. I'm only helping out, though, you don't have to listen to me..." he hissed. Venom leaped up onto the small he entered from. Behind it there was a very small hole, the same one he entered from and Venom layed down. He kept his gaze looked onto Storm, his eyes reflection silver in the dull light coming from the hole in the wall.

Storm opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by thudding footsteps, followed by a loud bang. He wove quickly through the overcrowded cave, leaping in front of the two she-cats just as the wall exploded into a cloud of dust. He glanced around desprately with sightless eyes, choked and confused by the cloud of white dust. Where are the humans? His question was answered by another strong kick from the human's foot. This time, it connected with his side, instead of the wall. The force of the blow threw him against the wall, and he sat there for a second, dazed. The humans took advantage of it and sent their foot flying toward Gingeroot. He yowled in anger and leaped in front of his sister's friend, grabbing the foot with his claws. The human yowled so loudly that Storm could hear it rattle the plaster on the walls. I am going to be deaf as well as blind if this keeps up! He turned his sightless eyes toward his sister, staring as the human shook him off its foot, throwing him into a wall with such force that he was knocked unconcious...
Gypsy jumped as the wall exploded, and leaped away, reaching for her friend's scruff, to drag her away as well. She opened her mouth to speak to her friend, but plaster filled her mouth instead of air. It was choking her. Filling her mouth, her nose, her ears, even her eyes. A dry, wailing cry found its way out her throat, as the dust thickened. She was drowning again! Shd slumped to the ground as the dust cleared, and coughed the plaster from her lungs. Through narrowed, dust-crusted eyes, she watched with horror as the humans aimed their blow at Gingeroot. She parted her jaws to warn her friend, but was pushed backward as a black pelt streaked past her, leaping onto the human's foot-covering and clawing it viciously. Pride, and fear, for her brother rose, but she forced it down, tugging gently on Gingeroot's scruff. We have to get out! She gasped as Storm was flung at the wall, and raced toward her unconcious brother. She gripped his scruff in her jaws, and dragged him toward the exit of the den, stirring up as much dust as possible.

Briar smiled at Venoms words and said, "We'll be unstopable." Then he turned just as the two-leg's foot burst through the wall. He watched as the two-leg kicked Storm unconcious, but when the paw moved towards Gingeroot, his stomach started to churn. "NO ONE KILLS HER EXCEPT ME!" he yowled and leaped onto the two-legs foot and scratched it up, causing it to recoil.
Gingeroot saw Storm knocked down by the heavy blow. "STORM!" she screeched and then saw a giant foot coming towards her. She was about to jump for it until she saw Briar leap onto the two-leg and scratch it. Suddenly Briar turned on her, "You stupid cat, why didn't you move!" he hissed and then jumped back beside Venom.

Storm staggers to his feet, and turns back, shaking his sister's teeth from his scruff. He stumbled and fell, then stood and leaned against a wall. Get them out. I don't care how mousebrained or evil they may be. Nobody deserves to be tortured as i have. His weak, dry croak echoed slightly in the tunnel, but the sounds from the humans covered it so that only Gypsy, who was standing beside him, could hear it. He parted his jaws slightly, letting scents from his den flow through it. All the herbs from his wall had been crushed and bruised when the humans found them. they were useless now. He scented further, reaching for the other cats. Gingeroot seemed afraid, and slightly shocked, but there was no blood-scent on her. Briar and Venom seemed angry more than anything, and the humans were furious. He shuddered slightly, waiting for his sister to pass him. They could stay here no longer. The humans would beat him worse than ever, now that he had resisted them. there would be no end to the pain.
Gypsy jumps foreward as her brother shakes away, and stumbles. She reached for him as he fell, then stopped as he stood and used the wall for support. She stared anxiously at him, then nodded and leaped back through the entrance. Dodging the human foot, she leaped over Storm's scattered nest, and crouched beside Gingeroot, hissing insistantly in her ear [/b]Gingeroot! Come on! We have to get out![/b] She shoved her friend's shoulder, leaning heavily with her own. She doged another foot, and gave her friend one last shove before racing toward Briar and Venom. She sank her teeth into their tails to get their attention, then raced in front of them and hissed loudly Get out you mousebrains! The den's about to collapse! She spoke no lie. The walls, floor, and ceiling of the den had begun to shake, sending flakes and chunks of plaster flying down. She hissed again, then shot back toward the entrance, and hurrying back down the tunnel, grabbing her brother's struff as she flew by, and dragging him with her.[/color]

Gingeroot ran away and out of the den following Gypsy giving no backwards glances. She dove out through the hole and into the tunnel with her tail straight up in the air. "Get oUT!" she screeched, and then paused. She mustered up the corauge to turn back. "Briar, Venom! Stay in there and get killed! I hate you!" With one last furious glance she ran out to the exit.
Briar felt teeth in his tail and whipped around giving Gypsy a hard blow on her head before she left. Then he turned to Venom, "Come on! We'd better get out before we're crowfood." A he dashed out of the way of danger he looked back to Talon. "If you stick with us, follow me out of this hole and befriend me. If you fail and proceed in a different direction,, I have as much reason to kill you if you get in my way." He flicked his tail towards Venom to signal that he was leaving and then bounded throught the hole into the tunnel, his massive paws thumping on the dirt floor.
