Taintedpaw awaked from his night of sleep. Everything was quiet. He walked out of the apprentice dan, and went over to the fresh kill pile. He grabed teh smallest vole there, remembering to feed the clan first. He hurried up and at his breakfast, then stood. He felt like a nice hunt today. He walked out of the camp listening for the pitter patter of any kill.

Eight small paws stepped noiseless along the forest floor. The first four belonged to the bigger cat, a tom known as Bramblepaw in ShadowClan. He was taking it easy, not pushing himself in his morning jog. The smaller was a she-cat. Whisperpaw wasn't much smaller by much though. Her pelt of dark calico blended in quite well to the shadows of the forest. Bramblepaw's on the other hand, blended better with the leafs scattered about the forest floor.
Neither of them talked to each other. They remained as distant as strangers. A fox length of air was kept between them by each. Every now and again their eyes would connect for a moment before turning away with a sour expression on each of their faces. It was really Bramblepaw who usually went on walks. Whisperpaw just fallowed after him.

ooc//: sorry DX
TaintedPaw croruched and waited for a good kill. He looked around him, feeling the presense of another. His ears twitched back and forth. He listened to the earth, feeling the vibration of a small vole. He smirked feeling the charge of energy travel through his body. He finally eyed thet vole. It was a little left of the tree next to him. He slowly walked around the tree, meating the voles tail within paws reach. He put his paw down on the voles tail and extented his nail into it. The vole turned and looked at TaintedPaw and tried to run away, but its tail was pinned down. TantedPaw lifted his paw, still holding onto the vole. He but above the lower abck, and sanpped its spin with his sharp teeth, killing the vole instantly. He stood and walked back to the clearing of ShadowClan camp. He walked over to the freshh kill pile and dropped the plump vole in the pile, then padded back into the bushes. He searched around finding a suitable spot to listen for another kill. He saw a bush and padded over to it and crouched don ans he did before. He was hidden in the shadows, unvisable to the eye. He listened to the ground, trying to hear the pitter patter of any fresh kill.

The older of the two siblings noticed their fellow apprentice first. "Taintedpaw!" he cried out jogging forward to greet the black colored tom. His face was cheery and he held his long striped tail high in the air. Bramblepaw shouldered his way past his sister and sat down beside Taintedpaw. He wrapped his tail around his paws and puffed out his chest fur. He must retain this position now to while he was sitting. It would make him look relaxed but sophisticated at the same time. "So how have you been holding up lately?" the brown tom asked with a hint of pleasure in his voice. He had wanted to talk to someone for a while now. Except for his sister, he had been very lonely.
Whisperpaw didn't resist as she was shoved out of the way. She was used to it coming from Bramblepaw. She shot him a dirty look but he didn't notice. Even if he did, Whisperpaw knew it wouldn't have the slightest effect on him. She said nothing but gave the other apprentice a warm smile. A flutter of hope flitted through the she-cats's green eyes. Maybe Taintedpaw would talk to her as well and not just Bramblepaw as most did. Maybe thats why she always fallowed her brother around. Because she wanted friends but was to shy to talk to anyone without being spoken to first. Bramblepaw wasn't anything like that. He would march up to a badger and start talking to it if he thought he could make friends with it.

Taintedpaw shook his head and sttod up. He was just about to catch a vole. He was a little annoyed but, he could never get mad at anyone. "Hello BramblePaw, Hello Whisperpaw," he meowed. He looked over at Whisperpaw, she looked shy. Then looked over at Bramblepaw, he looked sophisticated. "I have been holding up, just I'm a little mad today, just things decided to go the other way. And what about you Bramblepaw, and after that I would like to hear from Whisperpaw. And please be very discriptive, I need to be intertained. I've been bored for a while now," he meowed. Taintedpaw lifted his paw and licked his paw. Then, he flickered his tail impaceintly. He walked around in a little circle then laid down. He lifted his head and looked up and Bramblepaw. He looked back down. He saw his black paws and could feel the cold wind hit his pelt. He lifted his nose and closed his eyes, relaxing. He felt as if he was flying upon the clouds, being swept away by the wind. He opened his eyes and saw the two cats. He felt as if his entire world was crashing, [1]maybe I should take little journey and see what is going on with me[/1] he thought.

{{Sorry I took so long to reply, I've been really busy}}
"Lets see!" Bramblepaw gave an overly dramatic sigh, "Where shall I start?" Really the tabby apprentice had had a very boring day he had done practically nothing except maybe go out hunting and argue with himself.
"We'll I got up pretty early this morning and went straight out of camp and into the forest to hunt. First I stalked a mouse but it ended up escaping me, imagine that! Then I caught an old crow that was practically all feathers but I buried it for later anyway. Moving on, I caught a mouse that was so fat it could hardly run! Then I returned to get my crow and found that it was gone! Some creature had stolen it! Next time I'll have to remember to hide prey more carefully. So I caught another mouse and dropped them both off in the fresh-kill pile. Then I took a walk and now I'm just coming back," Bramblepaw completed sharing his whole day in a single breath. He took a little gasp for air after he was done but other then that he was not fazed.
Whisperpaw was quite pleased that Taintedpaw wished for her to share to. Usually she let Bramblepaw do all the talking. Not that he minded. She noticed that the apprentice seemed a little upset that Bramblepaw had interrupted his hunt. Not that her brother noticed. Toms where so thick headed! She couldn't help but lightly roll her eyes at Bramblepaw's dramatic story telling. After waiting for Bramblepaw to finish, she looked shyly over at Taintedpaw. Really he was quite a cute tom.
"I got up when Bramblepaw finished hunting. Then I went on a walk with him," the calico muttered shameful that she hadn't done hardly anything that day. Thinking over what she had just spoken she wondered if she could even say she went on a walk with Bramblepaw. It was more of they booth went on separate walks which just happened to be in the same directions at the same time.

TaintedPaw felt a gust of iwnd hit his back, it felt refreshing. He sat down gently on th tough ground. "Thankyou for that vivid description, and thankyou too, WhisperPaw. He looked around him. He smelt something, something weird. What was it?
He padded towards the smell, it was just a little mouse dropping. He bent down and sniffed it. No that's not it he thought. He sniffed the air. It was something. "Do you guys smell that?" he asked. Looking back at BramblePaw and WhisperPaw. He turned his head back to the smell, what is it. He focused his eyes into the bushes. Soemone was there. It must be a fox or badger, they are the only animals that smell so bad, he thought. He turned his head back to the apprentices. He gently smiled, but you could see the worry in his face. He turned back to the bushes and walked closer to them. He could see a shape but no distinct fogure. He walked closer, but was hesitant. He didn't want it to noticed him. He was just an apprentice, he couldn't take on a fox or badger. He looked back a Whisperpaw, wishing she could help.

{{Sorry I haven't been on in a while, school takes up all of my time}}
Bramblepaw was the first to investigate beside Taintedpaw. His brown, striped pelt rippled with excitement as he sniffed the air. "I'm not sure what do you think it is?" he meowed. It had been a while since there had been any excitement about ShadowClan. He was ready for something new as always. His hazel eyes looked back at Whisperpaw for a split second before turning to Taintedpaw. Sniffing the air again his mind began to calculate through his files of known scents. It was pretty strong and obviously a nasty smell. Badger? No fox! No not fox. What could it be?
"Thank you too Whisperpaw," The calico's lips curled into a soft smile. It felt nice to be included. her smile faded as both the toms began to sniff around. Not wishing to be left out she scented alongside them. But she had not so lucky as Bramblepaw to have experienced so many scents. She had absolutly no idea what it was and she wasn't pleased about that at all. She looked ahead at the two apprentices looking back at her. From Bramblepaw to Taintedpaw her hazel eyes flitted until she finally padded up between them. With a face of confusion she gave a small sigh before peering into the forest ahead.

Taintedpaw looked back into the forrest. He sniffed fiercly. Nothing, he couldn't figure it out. "Umm. I'm not sure what it is. But just for safety reasons we should tell the leader. It would help if the clan had an early warning," he meowed. Taintedpaw gently sat up strait then looked back at the two apprentices. He smiled at Whisperpaw's sweet face. He looked over to Bramblepaw he smiled at his curious face.
Taintedpaw looked back into the dark forrest, something was there. He walked slowly forward. He reached the start of the shadows. He walked in. His body completely disappeared from the others' sight. He sniffed the air. There was no sent. He froze, nothing made sense. Where did it go? He walked out of the shadows.
"I lost the sent. I still can't smell it. What aout you two?" he meowed. He looked quickly at whisperpaw. Then smiled.
((sorry that i wasn't here for a bit. i was swamped))
