The First Gathering

[Fernear!]

Fernstar lead her clan across the log leading onto the island. She lookedaround, and her heart stopped. Maybe the clans aren't rebuilt.. Maybe we're the only ones here! she shook the thought out of her head. Her emerald eyes filled with tears as she walked towards the large oak tree. The tree reminded her of the Four Trees back at the old forest. She turned to see her clan a bit farther back.

Rainstar walked across the log to the Island. She was relieved to see the Thunderclan cats. "For a moment I thought that only my clan lived." She looked back to see her cats following her. Then she rushed up to greet Fernstar. "Hello Fernstar! How is everything in Thunderclan?"

When it was her turn to cross the log bridge, Strongheart leapt up with a strong push from her hindquarters. Her balance was slightly off as she crossed, so she moved slowly. She leapt down at the end, landing lightly on her left frong leg, before quickly bringing her rear legs down onto the ground. Looking around the large she cat sniffed the air.

Fernstar smiled, You will know soon enough. Im glad Windclan has rebuilt itself. Fernstar awaited the two other clans, Riverclan and Shadowclan. It was apparet that Duskwing had a sibling in Shadowclan. [Sorry if it's the wrong cat, it's early in the morning X.x]

Rainstar smiled. She was eager for this was the first gathering that she would lead. "Riverclan and Shadowclan sure seem to be taking their time..." Rainstar said in an annoyed tone. She still looked happy and joyful as she looked around the Island. "Fernstar thank you. I'll glad that Thunderclan seems well!" She liked talking with other leaders. She looked behind her to see none of her chosen cats crossing. "Must be a little nervous.."

(Duskwing was the cat that had that sibling)

Blackstar thundered into the clearing. He knew all the other clans were thriving, and so was his. His large paws thundered across the ground and his clan was behind him. He kept on running and then slid into the clearing. He growled, knowing that he was third, but still not last one there. His green, evil eyes gleamed and full of fire. He jumped onto the tree and then peered down. He looked ready to present his news and he was begining to become very impatient.

Blackstar's expression never changed and his eyes never wavered. Riverclan was very late and he knew that he would have to wait a little longer. His ears twitched and his eyes narrowed. They might have to start the ceremony without Riverclan.

[Fernear!]

Fernstar smiled, Welcome Blackstar, have you seen Riverclan? Fernstar's voice cooed. Rainstar seemed like she wasn't the first Windclan leader, but she seemed willing to do anything for the clans. Fernstar looked towards the log. Still no Riverclan.

[KOLE!! And okies]

Miragesould dashed towards Blackstar, Blackstar! her tortoiseshell pelt was dull in the light and her eyes sparkled. Where's Riverclan? If there is a Riverclan still. Miragesoul sat beside Blackstar and twirled her tail around her feet.

Swallowleaf didn't know if she was aloud to be in the gathering but she decided to come. Rainstar, you didn't say who was to come to the gathering. So I followed you... Swallowleaf purred, Hello everyone. she greeted.[/color]

Whisperpaw looked around at the cats in the clearing. She could tell which cat belonged to which clan just by the scent of them. Thunderclan, Windclan. . .but no Riverclan yet. She looked around wondering who she would be able to talk to. Surely there where other apprentices here.

Ravenclaw came into the camp. Shadowclan and Thunderclan were here as well as them. Her sleek blackish blue fur looked like a mouse grey in the moonlight. Her golden eyes looked almost silver, but she was happy. Even with her gostly apperance she saw some cats she knew. Although she rarely ever talked she walked over to Strongheart and sat by her friend. "Good Evening Strongheart!" She mewed. She wanted to share the news that she was deputy.

Stripefur padded in after Fernstar. His brown tabby fur looked dull instead of its usual brightness. His eyes still shone with the power of 5 cats in one. Why he felt strong tonight, who knows exept Starclan? He couldnt change it, and he wasnt planning to. His tail twitched from a muscle cramp and he walked up to the front part of the clearing where the leaders were going to give there announcements.

"Good evening," Strongheart purred back. "How are you?" The golden warrior sat down, slightly awkwardly, but once she was down, she was grace once again. "You seem happy. Do you have good news?"

Rainstar looked around. She saw that Shadowclan had finally arrived. "Now, where is Riverclan? Oh no! What if there is no Riverclan!" Rainstar shook that thought from her mind. She sat and thought of the news that she would have to share.

Dawnwind walked into the area. She almost slipped when she crossed the log. She smelt Thunderclan. She looked around. "Duskwing?!" She heard no reply. "Hmm.. Where is Riverclan?" She looked around at all of the cats. "When are we going to start, Blackstar?"

Blackstar lookoed down on Duskwind. "When that slow poke Ashstar gets here. We cant have the gathering without them." He growled. He was very impatient and he wasnt willing to wait too much longer for Riverclan. He knew they were there, he smelled there scent on the way to the Island. He knew they swam over here. When they will actually get there, who knows.

Ravenclaw looked at Strongheart and smiled. "I got deputy position." She mewed happily. Her dark eyes were bright with the moon glinting in them. Her black fur was still that mouse gray color but it looked full and deep.

She looked up at her leader. "Do you think there even is a Riverclan anymore, Blackstar?" Dawnwind was puzzled. "Well... Riverclan is being terribly slow." She started to regret coming to the Gathering. She sighed and sat down. Dawnwind looked up at the sky. "If Ashstar doesn't hurry, the Gathering will end without the news being shared... What do you plan to do, Blackstar?" She layed still looking at the moon. Suddenly a thought raced through her head. "It's obvious that this Gathering will never start! This is wasting my time! I'm ready to just get up and leave! I'll do that and see what the others think!" She got up and walked to the Log Bridge. She looked back then started to cross. She stopped at the other side. She turned around and ran back to the Shadowclan camp. "If Blackstar wants to find me, he'll have to do it himself!"

"That's awsome!" Strongheart exclaimed, sticking her nose into her friends ear, in a gesture of happiness. "I'm so happy for you. When did you find out?"
