The pale light descending from the full moon washed the stones in a glow that shined eerily. Oakstar led her cats across the slick stones at the end of the moor, weaving through the reeds and protruding vegetation. The tree bridge was in sight now, and the waters of the lakes lapping underneath it, as if trying to consume the entire trunk. Her pelt shining in the bright light, Oakstar quickened her pace until she stood before the massive wood bridge, staring at the upturned roots from the ground. ‘How can anything on this land produce such a mammoth thing?’ She thought in awe, but shook the thought from her head and focused on the task before her. She looked back briefly at the faces of her clan, then gathered her strength in her haunches and leapt with all her might. Landing lightly on the bridge on her pads, she smiled a quick smile of pride, and then began her travel across the sometimes difficult trail. The wood was scraped away are place where cats had fell and tried to regain balance, and the path through the jut limbs and branches was worn under the paws of many felines. The bark was unusually dry for this time of the year, so there was no difficulty in making it safely across. When the path ended at the other end of the tree Oakstar gladly jumped off the lumber, and onto the dry ground of the island, which was comforting to her, even though the overpass of wood had been no challenge. She waited for a little while for the clan to cross, then slowly parted the undergrowth and padded confidently into the clearing. The clearing was vast, and could hold many cats at one time; it was ideal, Oakstar thought, for the Gathering of the four clans around the lake. Riverclan were the first to arrive, she noticed, and slowly walked into the revealed, tree-less area. Before going to the high rock she walked around, the stale scents of the other clans washed by rain and age. Oakstar sat down and began to lick her paws.

The young, new warrior, Leopardshadow ran in front toward her leader as the winding track came to a close. He held her grip tightly on the log. It after all was her first gathering as a warrior. She remembered coming here as a young apprentice, but it seemed so different. How the moon sunk into the water, the moss was different, everything. It made her pupil larger than it had expanded before.
No one was there, pity. She would of loved to go and share gossip with the other new warriors and apprentices, as she was the heart of one. No one was there. Leopardshadow, watching her leader with her widened eyes, thinking of what to ask.
"So... what will you announce to the other clans?"
It seemed like a stupid question, but she was desperate for an answer. The chances of her being talked over were little, as she wasn't much. Just a young warrior. There wasn't much happening in camp either, as far as she knew. Other than her sneaking back into the apprentices den during the day just to talk with her friends. Nothing. She circled and laid down, like a Sphinx, her head resting on her paws. She sighed, waiting.

With his shoulders rolling powerfully under his coat, Timescar expertly wound his way over the slick tree, fallen to bridge the gap. He cared little for the water, which slapped ominously against the wood below his paws, and simply continued, his tail held high to keep his balance.
... He may have cared little for the water, but he still didn't care to get wet on this cool night.
Timescar arrived upon the clearing. He tried to keep his calm composure, trying to pass off his glances around the gathering area as boredom, but even he couldn't fight the flicker of excitement in his sage eyes. How his heart had thrilled as his leader called out his name for the gathering..
He gave the air an experimental sniff, flicking his tail. He'd been to several gatherings, but not for some time indeed. Keeping close to Oakstar, he padded his way through the trees into the clearing, where he departed from the huddle of cats to wander for a few minutes to take his place at the edge of the clearing, with no words spoken from this tom, and he sat down with his tail curling elegantly over his paws. He raised his head proudly, keen to show his clan pride.

TEALTiDE
Terribly sorry, was I ignoring you again? My fault. ____________
Claws gripped the ground tightly. A sleek but bulky body tightened and the muscles underneath of her pelt rolled around. She snorted. She watched as the gathering was to take place, a small shred of excitement flitted through her body. Oakstar was already making her way across the log, and Tealtide was waiting at the one side. She looked down at the water and shivered. She breathed in the air and then looked to the forest. The deputy wanted nothing more then to be last across. [|unfinished -_- |]
