Venom walked around the Twoleg dens. "So large..." the young cat thought. He stretched his long legs and leaped into a tree. He sat there with a high posture. He looked around and a breeze blew by. He smelled dog, rat, and fox on it. "Great...." Venom muttered under his breath. He leaped out of the tree and walked off. He smelled dog, but it was fresh and stronger this time. His ears stood up and he started to panic. Then something rammed into him. He felt fangs meet his flesh. He turned to see a huge dog with its jaws clamped on his back. His jaw fell open in fear. He yowled and tried to free himself. His claws met the beast's muzzle. It howled and dropped him to the ground. Venom tried to regain his footing, but the dog pinned him to the ground. "I'm going to die!" Venom struggled under the beast's weight. He sank his fangs into the foot that had him pinned to the ground. The dog pulled its foot up and Venom bolted out from beneath it. He ran straight to a tree. The dog ran to the tree and right after venom made it to the first branch, rammed into it. Venom stayed where he was. Suddenly, he felt light-headed. His vision blurred and he swayed on the branch. A twoleg came out and pulled the dog into a den. Venom fell off of the branch and hit the ground hard. "Ow! That hurt!" Venom started to walk away from the twoleg dens and in the direction of the forest.

Yoshi was walking around the twolegs den when he saw a cat and a dog. Yoshi's hair stood up on has back. Yoshi then saw the twoleg pull the dog inside and he flinched and jumped into a bush. The twoleg looked over at the bush and walked toward it. The cold hand stuck inside the bush and Yoshi back out the other side of the bush and ran into the forest.Babypaw was living in the next den that Yoshi had been by. She lashed her tail agianst the rocky wall and pranced out. She peered around and frowned. She had missed Yoshi once again. Babypaw curled up by a tree and watched for her owner.
