I hope to become a large, small, an exotic veterinarian with a focus on equines

RiverClan's Medicine Cat Apprentice

I've been chosen as the medicine cat. It's something I've always dreamed about, but I feel so lonely. I feel like an outcast and separate from the clan and my friends. My closest and dearest friends are Falconpaw and Tigerpaw. I'm afraid to admit it but I feel something for the toms. Perhaps more so for Tigerpaw, especially after our Moonlit chat. He didn't care about my not being full-blood but half. What of my brother, I've not heard anything about him since the separation. Tigerpaw and I have so much in common it seems. We have our struggles. He has his legs and I've got blood. StarClan only knows how many fights have been caused by half blood or no blood warriors. Will I cause another?

What has happened to Oakstar and Streamheart? What will happen to our clan without a proper medicine cat? What will happen to me? As far as my other clan mates I haven't really had the chance to meet and get to know them. I've had the chance to meet Hawkfrost, Silkgrass, and Twigpaw however. Hawkfrost seems silent, brave and strong, while Silkgrass is loyal and willing to prove herself. Twigpaw is annoying and complains a lot, he adds a lot of interest and life into he camp.

The Gathering will be in a few days, StarClan only knows what will happen. Tomorrow is another day and I can't wait for it. Who knows what the future holds, other than a night time play for the apprentices soon. I'll have to speak with Tigerpaw and Falconpaw, they'll help I'm sure and keep it secret.

ThunderClan's Prickly Medicine Cat Apprentice

With everything changing I feel like I'm on auto pilot, stumbling around like a lost kit. I've lost my sight, my mentor, my dream, my honor, my respect. What else is there to lose? I'm the medicine cat now, well at least her apprentice. I can't seem to do anything right. I've been treating everyone poorly, I know its not all their fault. StarClan is to blame. Why me? I want my sight back, I want to be a warrior, the best this clan has ever seen! I loved hunting and wrestling with the other apprentices, I loved the competition.

Now I'm stuck in a herb filled cramped cave with nothing better to do other then sort plants and gather them. I'll never again know the thrill of battle or the rush of pride you get when you catch a piece of prey. I'm doomed to be isolated forever.

I got to meet one of the new apprentices the other day, Hawkpaw. I was so desperate for something to do that I invited him to wrestle. That mouse-brained fool said he hadn't had a proper lesson in a while. What a cowardly reply! I goaded him into it, pounced him, nothing serious though. It felt so good to fight again, though it wasn't friendly. We spat our pent up emotions at each other and used the other as a punching back for our frustration. The battle would have gone on if stupid Wildheart hadn't thrust his face in our business. Hawkpaw apologized, I suppose I should too.

I guess it's obvious that I'm useless, Wildheart even noticed. Still what honor does every cat talk about? Sure I'll hold a lot of power and influence over the clan, but how does it bring me honor? I can't fight of hunt anymore, I'm useless. Cedarclaw had just lost her apprentice, what else could they do with me? Fernstar couldn't exactly just throw me away, we are low in numbers, besides, I couldn't live very well alone.

She's hiding something, I just know it. I'll find out one day soon enough. Russetfur has asked me to join her in her campaign for the positing of Leader. She and I share similar feelings of rage for StarClan's refusal to see us in power. I wouldn't mind being deputy. It will only be a matter of time before Russetfur and I have our rise to power.

I hope I'll get an apprentice soon. I wish I could have been Nightpaw's mentor. I would protect her from being hurt and abused like I was. She is so beautiful and young, she doesn't need to know the horrors I went through. I'll never tell her, its best that way. Hopefully Nightpaw will be able to forgive me and all the blood I've shed so far. At least most of the cats around at that time have vanished of died, so my secrets will be safe.
