Her paw steps were light and barely made a noise. Her white paws looked like little flowers when she put them down. Her long furred body looked beautiful in the sun rays. Her red coat shone through the forest as she walked through, and her green eyes counteracted the redness of her coat. Sweetfeather was an all around beautiful cat.
She moved gracefully through the forest and came up to the sky oak. The oldest tree in the forest. She looked up it, and then looked at its base. It was as wide as two fox lengths. She padded up to it and pushed her body up against it. She rubbed her fur along the bark, spreading her sweet scent of fox and flowers all over it. She sat down right next to it, her eyes casted up wards at the top of the tree. The leaves fluttered with the soft breeze, and the blueness of the sky was almost completely hidden by the thickness of the branches of the forest.
Sweetfeather's eyes came back down, and her head followed. Her eyes went out of focus, and she started thinking. Thinking about Amber, her fox mom. About Hawk, her fox father. About her brothers, Red, Mischief, and Uno. She thought of what she left behind, and what she had now. She wouldn't notice if anyone was watching her, or even if a squirrel fell down the tree. She was in deep thought..

The faintest rustle, almost inaudible, marked the arrival of the ThunderClan tom warrior. His pawsteps placed gracefully against the ground as he stepped out of the undergrowth. He saw Sweetfeather, and blinked. She looked so at ease. The thing that puzzled him was, did Sweetfeather ever wish she was back with her fox family? Until she joined ThunderClan, the orange-and-white she-cat had known no different. Shaking his head, to push the feelings to the back of his mind, Berrysplash took a step towards the slender femme.
"Greetings, Sweetfeather." He had to admit, her name suited her. She looked incredibly sweet, anyway. And her eyes glowed with all the light of StarClan. Berrysplash's heart seemed to thump so loud, he was sure the she-cat could hear it. She was breathtakingly beautiful, he noticed, up close. His breath caught in his throat. Did he really have feelings for the ginger-and-white she-cat?
He paused, scenting the air with a sharp nose and listening with firm, pricked ears. Berrysplash himself was ginger-and-white, although perhaps he had more white on him, and his ginger splotches were darker than the she-cat's. He hesitated, then sat down, just a kit-length away from her. "You look nice today." He meowed, smiling warmly at Sweetfeather, a glow in his handsome yellow eyes.

Sweetfeather didnt move when the brush moved out of the way to make way for the tom. She didnt flinch when he stared at her. Her thoughts went to her old den and back again. But, the sound on his voice with her name made her jump. Her tail fluffed out twice the size it usually was, and with her long fur, it looked even fluffier. Her red head snapped in the direction of the words spoken and she realized it was Berrysplash. Embarrassed, she let her fur lie flat and she smiled and blinked. What was he doing here? Was he here just for her, or was this just incidental? Who knew?
Sweetfeather's green eyes looked at Berrysplash and looked the tom over. He was a darker version of her, with more white. His golden eyes were calm and mesmorizing. She had met him only once before when she entered the clan, but she never really payed attention to anyone, because most cats didnt pay attention to her, or stayed away from her because they weren't sure of her loyalty. But now, she has proven over and over again that she is loyal to her clan first, her family second.
His second sentence surprised her and she looked at her paws. She looked back and up and smiled. Thank you. She spoke through her green orbs, hoping he could read them. She wasn't about to bark in Fox tongue and make a fool of herself. She looked at Berrysplash, to see if he got her thanks.

[I'm really sorry, Maxxy! I forgot all about it after I made Pigeonpaw's bio.] Berrysplash's tail flicked at the end when Sweetfeather spoke to him through her eyes. He felt himself blink slowly, trying not to be drawn in by their beautiful sparkle. The ginger-and-white tomcat shifted uneasily and looked away, high up into the branches of a tree. His thoughts snapped open and and shut, and his mind was ablaze with wonder and curiousity. Did he really have feelings for Sweetfeather? He wasn't sure. But maybe the time to know had not come yet.
Berrysplash let out a deep sigh and turned his head to he faced his clanmate. 'So... what brings you here today?' He asked her conversationally. He wondered what her answer might be. Perhaps she would look at him to say she was just here by coincidence. Or could it be to find some cat? He shook his head. He had to let her answer and stop thinking up random things! He focused on Sweetfeather and waited for a signal of her eyes to tell him the answer.
Berrysplash thought of his sister for a moment. What would she say if he told her he thought he had feelings for Sweetfeather? Cinderwing, he thought, would say something like, "Oh, Berrysplash, that's wonderful! You must tell her how you feel." But right now, he couldn't even think of telling the pretty fox-marked she-cat anything of the sort.

No one's there to notice, if I gain a couple pounds, Thats the upside, of being down
Sweetfeather looked at Berrysplash and watched his movements. He was a good looking tom, and he seemed to take an interest in what she was doing at the moment. So...what brings you here today. His voice seemed so sweet and kind. Sweetfeather looked at him and blinked. Just thinking... About my family. Her eyes dimmed from their usual glimmer, and her thoughts escaped from her, back to her old den site that she found covered with blood. Her thoughts wadered through the forest. What has happened to my family? She asked herself. Her facial expression went from its usual glimmer, to somber and depressed.
She looked back to Berrysplash and shook her emotions away from her and looked apologetic. I'm sorry. I'm just worried about them. She blinked her green eyes towards him, knowing that he could read them. She looked at her paws and started to knead the ground infront of her. Crystal claws retracted and dug up little divits in the soft dirt. Her soft triangular shaped head looked back up to look at Berrysplash. Her auds swivled in position as a raven cawed in the distance. Sweetfeather's eyes still had that glint of depression, but she tried to hold on to her usual happy tone. So looked at Berrysplash and smiled to him. What about yourself?
[/u][/color] She asked him. She answered his question, and ended up depressed because of her findings that were based on her stupid answer, now she wanted to know whether or not he was following her, or he just found her by accident. Berrysplash flicked an ear backwards, one ear listening out to the sounds of the forest. His eyes focused on Sweetfeather's, anyhow, as she replied. She was thinking about her family? A small sadness flickered inside the young tom's heart. He had a feeling that the she-cat thought of her fox family often, and what had become of them. A sort of dragging feeling pulled the orange-blotched tom-cat down, a longing feeling. He felt sorry for Sweetfeather. There was no other way to put it.
When sadness blotched the young she-cat's vision, Berrysplash felt like going over to her and comforting her, but instead he mewed, "I'm sure they got through." But in his mind, he pictured Sweetfeather's russet-furred family being torn apart by something... but he couldn't focus on what was harming them. He decided he wanted to take his mind off the foxes for a while, and turned to Sweetfeather again, opening his maw to answer he question. "I was just going out for a little walk.... And, well... I found you." A wide smile stretched over his handsome face, and sap-toned pools glowed in perfection to eachother.
Berrysplash figured he also needed to get Sweetfeather's mind off her family, so he stood up, tail raised in the air, and mewed, "How would you like to come hunting with me?" He begged to StarClan that she would accept.

The hills are alive with the sound of music With songs they have sung for a thousand years The hills fill my heart with the sound of music My heart wants to sing every song it hears
.:[T]he sun dappled through the leaves that tried to hide it, and it caught at Sweetfeather's eyes, making them sparkle. Her red flowered pelt captured the small spots of sunlight. The forests colors were turning to light greens, oranges, reds, and onll the pine needle tree's seemed to remain a deep green. Sweetfeather took in a deep breath of the forest, opening her mouth to let the scents flow. Rain was coming, and the clouds were grey in the distance, and filled with rain.
.:weetfeather wished that the Tom would try and comfort her, but he held his ground and only spoke, but Sweetfeather didn't hear him. She lifted herself off of her haunches, and stretched her legs to get the blood flowing smoothly again, and her claws kneaded the dirt before her. Then a question filled her mind. How would you like to come hunting with me? The pretty she cat looked up and smiled to the tom. I would love to. Her green eyes sparkled and she walked up to the tom and licked the side of his face in thanks. She walked past him and placed her fluffy tail tip on his shoulder as she walked by. The pretty she-cat wasn't much of a flirt, but there was something about Berrysplash that she couldn't help but notice.
.:[T]he first thing she smelled was a rabbit, and using her fox hunting instincts, she crept up down wind on the rabbit. Its head rose up and stood perfectly still, knowing there was a preditor around, but knowing not to run because it might run into what ever was going to try and catch it. Sneaking from side to side, spreading her scent, she finaly crept up wind, and the rabit bolted, right towards her scent markers, and then straight back to her. Sweetfeather pinned the rabbit down and snapped its neck easily. She looked up at Berrysplash, and wondered what he had caught.

ooc ;; I love the Sound of Music. xDD bic ;; Berrysplash purred as Sweetfeather wandered past him, and felt his heart miss a beat as her brush of a tail touched his shoulder. Feeling as if he had new energy now, the ginger splotched tom darted after the she-cat but turned the opposite way as he smelt thrush. There it was. Sleek feathers of tawny browns and a few slashes of caramel beige on its head and underbelly. The thrush hopped across the earth, every now and again stopping and raising his head. Then it would shake its wings out and stick its head down again to search for worms, and it would continue its hopping. Berrysplash narrowed his eyes and sprung down into a stance. He crept along the forest floor, careful and silent.
When he saw the time, he sprung from his position and right next to the thrush. He took a paw and swiped it over the startled bird. The creature let out a screech of alarm, and then it died instantly. Eyes glowing with satisfaction, Berrysplash trotted swiftly back to Sweetfeather, his paws stepping evenly on the earth in front of him. With an affectionate glance at the pretty she-cat, he sat down and admired her catch.

And a word to the Wise, When the fire dies, You think its over, But its just begun.
.:weetfeather's ears caught Berrysplashes footsteps before she saw him. She smiled when she saw the thrush hanging from his mouth. She watched him set it down, and his eyes went in awe of her own catch. Sweetfeather smiled, keeping her mind off her fox family, somewhere, and she looked at Berrysplash a question entering her mind. Why are you looking at me like that? Her thoughts pushed the question away from her eyes so she didn't blurt it out. She looked back at Berrysplash, more thoughts entering her mind. Well, he is a very nice tom cat. He could be a good mate ya know. The little voice in her head reminded her constantly that she always wanted kits, but with this tom that she barely knew? Sweetfeather shook her crown, letting the little voice become rattled, and silenced. She looked at Berrysplash and smiled in an even smile.
.:[H]er green eyes sparkled, and her thoughts came back to her once more. Just ask him that question before you loose that chance! Sweetfeather's smile faded, and then her eyes basically blurted the question that her little voice told her to ask. Why are you looking at me like that? She knew that Berrysplash could read her eyes, and so she figured that he would catch that question, with him staring at her already, he would catch anything she did. Sweetfeather did want to know, but she usually wasn't this apprehensive about anything that she wanted to know. She looked at the ground, focusing on how she sat, bringing her haunches to the floor, and her long front legs closer to herself. She brought her long fluffly red and white tail around and placed it over her paws. She slowly looked up, looking very intriguing as she did. Her eyes sparkled, and she waited for the tom's answer.

Berrysplash smiled quickly. What was he supposed to say? The answer seeped into his mind, but he pushed it quickly away. It was too early to tell her that he had feelings for her. Maybe when they got to know eachother more. He hoped that they would - he could just imagine becoming great friends with Sweetfeather... and maybe even more. "N...no reason." He was annoyed to find his voice stammering. There was no problem with liking Sweetfeather - she was a very nice cat to be around.
Berrysplash shook his head from his thoughts and smiled at the she-cat, his yellow eyes brimming with hope. "Shall we go and catch some more prey for the clan?" He asked. "We will all be well fed tonight." His tail was kinked at the end, waiting for a reply. He hoped that the clan would live for many more seasons in harmony, such as this moment. It was so peaceful right there, standing with Sweetfeather, both of them about to hunt. This was how it should be all the time, Berrysplash reflected, no worries, peaceful... so calm. The tom smiled to himself, but kept his thoughts in his head. He was happy and carefree, and he felt like he had when he was a young kit, playful and joyful with everything he did.
