^~Briar~^
A pair of brown eyes was visible in the undergrowth, even though the rest of their owner was completely veiled from view. The huge spotted tom known as Briar lurked in clan territory, watching and waiting for anything to happen. He needed a tribe of evil to follow him, and then he could take over the clans by the lake, forcing them not only out of their territory, but out of their minds in fear as well. He had decided to find a cat wandering alone in the forest, kill it, or at least injure it, and then leave. That would put that clan in a fury and tussle over the mysterious death. The clan’s would blame each other, and battle could break out, leaving everyone easy prey for Briar and his tribe of agony inflictors.
His stomach growled with hunger and Briar realized the last time he had eaten was back yesterday. If he needed the strength if he was going to fight a cat, even if he towered over them by what seemed like miles. He didn’t smell any cat coming, so he decided to crawl into a nearby bush to be camouflaged better and not be caught as the one out in the open clearing. Perhaps it would help mask his unfamiliar scent.
‘This territory stinks of the filth of the clans!’ he thought, wrinkling his nose at the scent of the Shadowclan Terra. An evil smile creeped its way onto his face, and he smiled, showing long sharp white teeth. His claws flexed, even though they were shorter than average. He usually didn’t need claws in his battles; one swift club of his massive paw seemed to be enough to send his opponent tumbling and ‘lights out’ for a few hours. He might not be the saber tooth tiger that his ancestors once were, but he sure wasn’t one of the measly kittypets that lived all around him.
Perhaps when a Clan cat happened along he would tell them that he was from the clan of thunder with a message… Then slash them hard across the muzzle with an unsheathed claw and start a battle between the Clan of Thunder and the Clan of Shadow.
No, they aren’t called like the Mountain Tribe; Clanshadow, no not right, Shadowclan?
Yes, this was the name he’d heard some rouge talk about. Narrowing his eyes he scanned the area again for a scent of a cat. He’d decided to use the Thunderclan approach, even if he smelled nothing of Thunderclan.
I could say that I’m Fernstar’s secret weapon towards the other clans… No, they might not buy it, but a good slash of claws and they should see that I mean business well enough…
