Sleep I S a good thing

[Rainefrost]

Rainefrost sprinted in Ferstar's direction, too worried to care much about where the badgers were going next. He halted beside her, and immediately began sharing tougues.
The striped tabby was awfully confused; he didn't want to leave Ferstar alone while he went to get the medicine cat. But then again, he wanted help as soon as possible.

Pushing his debate aside, he decided to check on something before doing anything. Perhaps, if she responded to his voice, he could help her walk back to camp. So, as calmly and gentle as ever, he spoke: "Fernstar... can you hear me?" His tone held quiet concern.

Patiently, Rainefrost waited at her side, hoping to be assured by Fernstar's pleasuring voice. He glanced around only to observe his surroundings, and to make sure the badgers weren't to return.

[Fernear!]

fernstar's gaze was hazy, her mind was a blur. Her eyes opened slightly but then closed again. She wouldn't be able to walk for quite a long time. Her brain was still working, no damage done and her heart still beat. She was slowely going unconcious and would need help soon. the strike to her maw was seemingly fatal, you could easily visualize the badger attacking her. "rainefrost..." she whispered in pain.

[Rainefrost]

Rainefrost let out a tiny mew of grief as he struggled to decide what to do; whatever he did, he would have to do it quick. It was clearly obvious that Fernstar was slowly losing conciousness, and his time was limited.
Intantly, his instinct took over as he lifted her motionless body from the ground and set it gently onto his back. Then, he gradually headed in the direction of the Thunderclan camp.

Rainefrost shoulders tensed slightly, sadened emerlad eyes scanning the familar area. He, in being as kind and helpful as any other clan cat, moved his tail upward to keep her's from dragging. He whispered quietly in her ear, whether or not if she could hear him: "It's going to be alright, Fernstar..."
His sides heaved as he continued to trek back to camp.

[Fernear!]

Fernstar's eyes were just mere slits as she was lifted to be brought back to camp. [my post would be to small if it ended here =P]

The badgers had all left but one, the other male of the set had turned and followed Rainefrost and Fernstar. He growled and began to hiss. He reared onto his short back legs and hit the ground with his heavy weight.

[Rainefrost]

Rainefrost, at the sonance of the badger, looked over his shoulder and hissed wildly. He was not sure if the badger would perhaps listen to his demand, but it was a try. They weren't even half way to the camp, and Rainefrost wasn't going to give up as easily.

The badger grunted, possibly a part laugh for him, then turned back to his set.
