Gathering!

Blackstar jumped up to the High Branch and let out a huge yowl. "The Gathering is TONIGHT! I am taking Blackclaw, Miragesoul, Redpaw, Muteheart, Dawnwind, Foxpaw, Earthrain, Darktrail and Stormfrost. And on this note. I now pronounce Stormfrost our new Deputy. If you would uphold the deputy honors please say I do." Blackstar was glad that he finaly had a new deputy.

Miragesoul heard Blackstar's voice, Blackstar made Stormfrost deputy. I should congradulate him.. Miragesul was still annoyed, her leg was hurting and she couldn't get hold of the medicine cat. Miragesoul had heard medicine cats pull the legs into place again. Miragesoul decided to try. She sat down, took hold of her leg and twisted it into place. She yowled, though her leg was ok it still burned with pain. Miragesoul went into the medicine cat's den. She remembered one herb, poppy seeds. It would help her sleep and kill the pain. She decided to take a few. Sh may be punished but her leg felt much better. But not fully healed.

Stormfrost's jaw dropped. Him? The new deputy? He felt shocked, and honored. "I do. Thank you Blackstar," he said quickly, his fluffy tail shaking with excitement. Being deputy was his dream ever since he was a kit. But he never thought he would become one. He looked over at Miragesoul as she limped into the medicine cat's den. He decided to go and see how she was doing.

[/b] she said calmly. Her tortoiseshell pelt was very bright, the sun was shining through the camp branches, the pine trees were full. The branches left needles all over the forest floor. The few oak trees from Thunderclan were still full. Barely any leaves fell. She looked at Stormfrost's eyes. His thoughts were blurry, usually she could tell. But with her recent softness, maybe that changed her.[/color][/size][/ul]

Blackstar saw Miragesoul talking to the new deputy, Stormfrost. A growl rose deeply in his chest. Was he, jelous? No. Cant be... Can it? He jumped down the High Branch and gave a nasty glare to both Miragesoul and Stormfrost, then dissapeared inside his den.

Miragesoul saw Blackstar, Hang on Stormfrost, come see me before moonhigh. she said while she got up. Miragesoul went towards Blackstar's den. She wondering why he sent Stormfrost and her that stare. It may just be him being him again, but it may be something else.

Blackstar pushed through his entrance of his den and pushed right past Miragesoul and stared right through her. He WAS jelous. He walked to the front of the camp and let out a yowl to tell everyone that it was time to go. He shot through the entrance with the rest of the cats behind him. Now was not the time to talk to him or you just might have a one way ticket to Starclan.

Miragesoul yowled right back at him, she stomped right over to him, What's your problem! I go over and talk to Stormfrost and you burst! her eyes were blazing with anger, but also affection. She had to puch it out for now. She was angry with him, even though he was leader.. Didn't meen he was different from the other cats. [rank wise. not personality.. Like the way.. confusing to explain =P]

Stormfrost nodded to Miragesoul as she left, a bit shocked that Blackstar had given him such a nasty glare. "Why would he do that? All I did was go to see how a friend was doing...wait did he think? Oh great! This isn't good Stormfrost, you don't need the leader mad at you!" he thought uncomfortably. The brown tom sat alone deep in his thoughts, a bit scared of what might happen. "Blackstar must be in love with Miragesoul. He must think there is something going on between us! I like Miragsoul a lot but as a friend not a mate. Should I tell Blackstar that or should I just not say anything at all?" he wondered a bit upset over the whole ordeal.

Blackstar completely ignored Miragesoul and kept running and yowled another time so the entire clan knew that it was time to go. He wasnt going to talk to any particular cat tonight. He didnt know what he was feeling but he was angry. Angry with himself and with every one. He knew he shouldnt get into anything. So, he was never going to have a mate. That was his final battle. No mate.

Stormfrost fallowed Blackstar with his head hung low. He could tell his leader was upset and that made with feel bad. He walked a few steps behind his leader in silence. His large brown and white paws seemed to drag on the ground. The new deputy couldn't help but feel this was all his fault that Miragesoul and Blackstar were upset.

Miragesoul snarled, she forgot about talking to Blackstar. Though she kept walking beside him. Her pace the same as his. She wouldn't talk to him untill he talked to her. She would now be back to her normal self. After her soft ordeal, she would be twice as mad.

Muteheart came back from training to hear his name called for the Gathering. He saw the whole ordeal. It did not seem good. Blackstar angry was like having a fox loose in the Nursery. Although he was going to the Gathering, that was good. He walked back to his den.

"Oh darn." Peachpaw said walking back from her training "I'm not going to the gathering again." She sat down and looked at Stormfrost 'Him as deputy. Oh my gosh that a mistake.'
