"I came so close to crossing over!" She stared at the nature surrounding her. She stared at the leaves below her. "They'll move, they'll move, they'll move!" It didn't work. The leaves never even stirred. She began to become angry. "Maybe I should. Maybe I should cross over into the Thunderclan. No, it's way too dangerous!" She turned around and walked deeper into the Windclan and away from the Thunderclan. "So what. I can live fine on my own." Finally, a bee flew past her. She instantly lost her anger, and began chasing after it. "Come back! I just want to play with you!" Now, she reached the actual stream. It was overflowing, and it was making her wet. "As much as I love nature...it's water!" She ran further from the stream. "Water. It's so disgusting!"

Rainstar walked over to the stream to see if what she heard was true. Rumors said that the stream that served as the Thunderclan Windclan border was flooded. Her mind was wandering, tracing and trying to find reason for all of this mayhem, and it would have continued to wander, but something cought her attention. Her front paws were now wet. She then realized that there was a strong sound of rushing water and she looked back to the earth. She was standing on a log in the midle of the rushing, flooded river. "d**ned!" She was a little shaken because she didn't notice that she has walked over onto the log. She looked around and saw a small bank that she might be able to leap to. One... Two... Three! She leaped from the log and soared throught that air gracefully. Then... SPLASH! Rainstar had overlooked the wet area on the bank where there was once water. Now she was a small leader, covered from nose to paw in thick wet, mud. She shook herself sending the filth flying every direction, also overlokking the apprentice, Skypaw that was standing over by some leaves. "Hello Skypaw. Sorry if I got mud on you, but this whole change in the rivers and the tide... Plus I have scented some new cats on our territory. Could you help me out, Skypaw? I want you to come with me, Swallowleaf and Seapaw on an evening patroll to mark the borders and to check the flooded lands." She smiled at the sweet young apprentice. She would love to pass her ways of life down to both Seapaw and Skypaw. "Speaking of those two, what will their warrior names be, Starclan? Do you all think that Seastorm and Skywind would be fitting?" She didn't know why she was asking Starclan, they had been silent every scense that changes in the waters around Windclan's territory.

Skypaw could smell another cat enter close to her. "Another cat, perhaps?" Skypaw felt assured even as the cat approached. It smelt much like herself, meaning it must be from Windclan. "I've got nothing to worry about." As the cat got closer, Skypaw could decipher it's owner. "That's Rainstar! The leader of the Windclan! She's so pretty, and tall. She's a really great leader." It wasn't long before she realized Rainstar was coming towards her. "Oh no, what have I done?" The Leader of Windclan overlooked the water. There was a giant splash, and Skypaw barely avoided it. The Leader then shook off, getting mud on Skypaw. "It doesn't really matter anymore." Rainstar told her about the rivers and the tides, but she didn't remember that as well as the next sentence. Had she really been invited to go patrolling with her mentor, the leader, and another apprentice. It was a great moment of glory, it couldn't be wasted. "I'd love to go, I have no problem at all!" She walked right behind Rainstar, but tried to not to focus too much. "That would be really bad, if I messed up with the leader in front of me."
