I glanced around the surrounding area before moving out into the open. I was to be carful, as it was so close to enemy territory.
Ah, the taste of prey was in the air. I could tell that it was nearby. Crouching down, I trod carfully foward, my paws making no sound upon the turf.
I pounced and caught the mouse who had been my target. A bite to the neck and it was dead. Fresh-kill is going to be avalible for the other cats. And good thing too. I'm unsure as to whether the otehrs are acutally doing their bit. I have found the pile rather lacking in food.
Those Kitty-pet days were wonderfully blissful, with food always avalible. My person, oh I miss her. I wonder if she still has her mate? Does she ever think of me, or wonder where I've gone?
I must stop thinking such things. I am no longer a soft kittypet. I am a she-cat warrior of Thunderclan. My duty is to serve them, to obey my leader, not long for such comforts.
It is hard though to forget those few moons.
