Significance is a literate, intermediate to advanced Warriors role play. We role play with the five original clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and StarClan. We've been here for over two years and counting! We have friendly, knowledgeable members along with many unique cats to role play with. Come and find out yourself what we have to offer!
04/11/09 With the latest activity check coming to a close, it seems that we are slowing down before we speed up (hopefully!) The plot is planned to start after a few threads finish up and the gathering comes to an end. When that happens there will be a new skin, new images, and more! There are still high positions open so keep an eye on the side table and stats! 18/09/09 School's up and running, that's for sure! Homework, projects and tests have already popped up. Post when you can, anything is great. Now that the ceremonies are starting to come to a close the gathering that will start the plot is coming up! If everyone is able, we will have the said gathering next moon. 09/02/09 Congratulations to: Cedarclaw, Smallstar and Duskfeather! Faythe, Rowanwing and Fawnfeather! Breanna and Maplefeather! Tikker and Briarstar! Whitepaw and Littleleaf!... and Fernear and Miragesoul! All of these members and cats have been appointed into their specific clan's hierarchy. The clans almost have full ranking hierarchies! Great job everyone! Thank you to every member who has participated in the ceremonies and held the hope to grab one of these positions. We really appreciate it whether you got it or not. Now that the clans are up-to-date, the plot should be started next moon! 08/10/09 Congratulations to Heathclaw and Rustlestar! WindClan now has their new leader. Activity is high amongst the members we have but with ShadowClan and RiverClan in need of a new hierarchy we're in desperate need of more members to open the window of opportunity to more members: advertise is you'd like.. It'd help and I'd appreciate it :) Keep up the activity and enjoy the last few weeks of summer! 07/29/09 We planned on starting the plot this moon, but I think it may be tight with all the new leader and deputy threads. PM me your opinion! There's an activity up so go post! The summer is almost done but we've still got time to enjoy! 07/06/09 Yes, the new version is here! This plot will be on its way soon enough, you've received a PM about it. The money system is back, the rules have been updated and there are many interesting things to come with the plot! Greenleaf is here and the land is definitely showing it. The plants and trees are as lush as the cats have seen in moons and the prey are just running from their dens into the cats' paws. The air is heavy and humid with only slight breezes every once in a while. The lake is swelling from all the frequent heavy rain storms.
Although this Character of the Month is played with by one of the newer members of Significance, we believe he really deserves it. This month, please give your congratulations to Faythe who plays this month's character of the month - Rowanwing! Faythe plays Rowanwing with a great deal of literacy, and he's a fun cat to be in a thread with. Faythe has a lovely way of role playing, and it's easy and fun to read her posts. Faythe, great job with your style of role playing and congratulations on having Rowanwing as this month's Cat of the Month!

Cedarclaw is a petite, lithe she-cat with wide, deep, crystalline blue orbs. Her eyes can portray only one emotion, or many at a time, it all depends on her mood. Seeing as she is normally a well-tempered cat, her eyes shine. Rarely do they let another emotion escape their depths.
The fur lining below her ears are of a light brown color, mixing in with some tan. The color around the outside edges of her eyes are a deeper, and darker, chocolate colored brown, soon clashing with a lighter colored brown near the lower outer edges of her eyes. Her ears are edged with a dark brown, a very light tan color, along the bridge of her head, then the dark brown forming along the edges of her other ear. The bridge of her nose and all of her maw is a clear, crisp white color, and her nose a faint pink color.
Her whiskers are very long, and help her out while trying to find a distinct herb in mind. Her neckline is a distinct light beige color, then slowly lightening out into a pure white color the rest of the way down, until the white stops abruptly at her tail. There, the color of the tail goes from a light brown, and deepens as it goes along, forming a distinct brown tip of the tail.
Her paws are also white, apart from her left hind leg. Her left hind leg, from the white belly, all the way down to the ankle is dotted with light, and dark brown spots, her left paw finally becoming a snow white color again.
Personality:
Around Kits &&;; Happily helping the helpless Cedarclaw absolutely adores kits. She loves telling stories, and loves to treat them. She is amused by them, when they come into the medicine cats den, claiming they were just in the wrong place, at the wrong time. She remembered herself as a kit, being the same way. She always wanted to be a medicine cat, so she always, always, always, tried to get hurt, whether it be poking her paw with a thorn or “accidentally” running into a patch of brambles.
Around Apprentices &&;; Willing to help Seeing as Cedarclaw has her own apprentice, she normally tends to favor Mudpaw. She remembers being an apprentice, but, seeing as she was the medicine cat apprentice, she remembers feeling so out of place, so she tries her hardest to allow Mudpaw to be with the other apprentices. She doesn’t mind helping an apprentice out with their duties, and she doesn’t mind treating their wounds, because they always come with an interesting story to tell.
Around Warriors &&;; Quiet in doing so Cedarclaw loves being around her fellow warriors. Most of the time, when she is talking with a warrior, it is because she needs to check up on a wound they had received. They normally keep quiet around her, as she enters and exits the camp frequently, in search for herbs. Because of her friendly manner, no warrior has seemed to be wary of her.
Around Elders &&;; Listening forever Cedarclaw loves to be around elders. She loves hearing their stories of when they were younger, and she loves to help them, although she doesn’t particularly enjoy putting mouse-bile on their ticks.
All around &&;; Doing it her own way Cedarclaw is an all around well-tempered, well-mannered she-cat. She takes pride in her clan, and what she does, as a medicine cat, and never regrets making the decision to become Thunderclan’s medicine cat. In general, Cedarclaw is one of the more energetic cats around the clan, maybe it is because she doesn’t have to battle train, or go out on patrols, but there always seems to be a bounce in her step. She listens more than the average cat talks, and has a full heart, and a quick thinking mind. She is full of wisdom, knowledge, and most importantly, the best trait of a medicine cat, patience.
History:
Cedar opened her eyes for the first time, and saw four walls surrounding her. For her, it became the perfect life, although, somewhere in her mind, she knew something just wasn’t right. Maybe it was her mother’s restlessness that bothered her, or, maybe it was the empty feeling she had in her heart. A few days later, a tom came up to the window. He was a ginger, like her. He had no collar, unlike her mother, who had one around her neck, but he, he had wild, ruffled, and untamed fiery ginger fur. He had Cedar’s eyes, too.
Ginger, Cedar’s mother, raced away from her litter, and somehow managed to find a way for the tom to get in. There was something in her eyes, at that moment, which Cedar would never forget. The tom’s name – Fangshadow, her father, was a warrior of Thunderclan. As he explained the life of a clan-cat Cedar knew she wanted to go with him, but her littermates refused. Her mother was fretful, but agreed, nonetheless. When Cedar was fit to travel, she would go with her father, to join the clans.
Cedar really never knew what had become of her mother and father until her father took her back to the clan. On the way there, he spread it out in front of her, their whole life, and hers. Her mother was captured, and never returned to the clans. By then, she was already pregnant, and he had to find her, to see if his kits were alright. He had only visited once, before the kits were born, and they made an agreement from Fangshadow to come back two moons from that date, to see if any of the kits would like to live the life his mate, and Cedar, and her littermate’s mother, never got to live.
They both knew at least one kit would agree, and there, they found that Cedar would live the life of a warrior, or in Cedar’s case, a medicine cat. When they got to the camp, Cedar was named Cedarkit, and given to a queen to raise as her own. Cedarkit never really had dreams of being a warrior. She spent many of her 5 moons in the medicine cats den, asking questions about herbs, always willing to learn more. Then, she was made Cedarpaw, to become the next medicine cat of Thunderclan.
Cedarpaw worked hard, to become a medicine cat, and she loved what she did, which made it easier than it should have been. She learned quickly, and soon had all she needed to know safe in her wild thoughts. She did well in her battle training, but rarely hung out with the other apprentices, seeing as when she was a kit, she spent most of her time away from her friends, and in the medicine cats den. She was then named Cedarclaw, after her mentor had died. She is now the medicine cat of Thunderclan, her apprentice, and friend, Mudpaw is in training.
