Significance is a literate, intermediate to advanced Warriors role play. We role play with the five original clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and StarClan. We've been here for over two years and counting! We have friendly, knowledgeable members along with many unique cats to role play with. Come and find out yourself what we have to offer!

04/11/09 With the latest activity check coming to a close, it seems that we are slowing down before we speed up (hopefully!) The plot is planned to start after a few threads finish up and the gathering comes to an end. When that happens there will be a new skin, new images, and more! There are still high positions open so keep an eye on the side table and stats!
18/09/09 School's up and running, that's for sure! Homework, projects and tests have already popped up. Post when you can, anything is great. Now that the ceremonies are starting to come to a close the gathering that will start the plot is coming up! If everyone is able, we will have the said gathering next moon.
09/02/09 Congratulations to: Cedarclaw, Smallstar and Duskfeather! Faythe, Rowanwing and Fawnfeather! Breanna and Maplefeather! Tikker and Briarstar! Whitepaw and Littleleaf!... and Fernear and Miragesoul! All of these members and cats have been appointed into their specific clan's hierarchy. The clans almost have full ranking hierarchies! Great job everyone! Thank you to every member who has participated in the ceremonies and held the hope to grab one of these positions. We really appreciate it whether you got it or not. Now that the clans are up-to-date, the plot should be started next moon!
08/10/09 Congratulations to Heathclaw and Rustlestar! WindClan now has their new leader. Activity is high amongst the members we have but with ShadowClan and RiverClan in need of a new hierarchy we're in desperate need of more members to open the window of opportunity to more members: advertise is you'd like.. It'd help and I'd appreciate it :) Keep up the activity and enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
07/29/09 We planned on starting the plot this moon, but I think it may be tight with all the new leader and deputy threads. PM me your opinion! There's an activity up so go post! The summer is almost done but we've still got time to enjoy!
07/06/09 Yes, the new version is here! This plot will be on its way soon enough, you've received a PM about it. The money system is back, the rules have been updated and there are many interesting things to come with the plot! Hopefully the wait wasn't too bad, I hope it was worth it! Keep your eyes peeled for what's in store for Significance and its members!

High: 33°C, 91.4°F
Low: 21°C, 69.8°F

Greenleaf is here and the land is definitely showing it. The plants and trees are as lush as the cats have seen in moons and the prey are just running from their dens into the cats' paws. The air is heavy and humid with only slight breezes every once in a while. The lake is swelling from all the frequent heavy rain storms.

Rowanwing | Faythe
Although this Character of the Month is played with by one of the newer members of Significance, we believe he really deserves it. This month, please give your congratulations to Faythe who plays this month's character of the month - Rowanwing! Faythe plays Rowanwing with a great deal of literacy, and he's a fun cat to be in a thread with. Faythe has a lovely way of role playing, and it's easy and fun to read her posts. Faythe, great job with your style of role playing and congratulations on having Rowanwing as this month's Cat of the Month!

Name;; Smallfoot

Gender;; She-cat

Age;; Forty-six Moons

Clan;; To be in a tangle of Shadows -- ShadowClan

Rank;; Warrior

Description;;

With clear green eyes like Smallfoot, she isn’t really one to blend in with a crowd. To start out, Smallfoot’s eyes are luminous and expressive, bright and show emotions clearly. Her body is medium in side, and she has a strong, muscular build. She has slender legs with strong muscles and her hind legs are slightly longer than her forelegs, and she has oval paws, which helps her with her cunning ability of stealth, and her jumping ability. She has a short pelt, which gives it a silky smooth texture.

Smallfoot's body is lean and hard, sharply cut angles and solid muscles carving her effective build. She is muscular for the most part, though her apparent figure is that of a lean she-cat with compact, tight muscles taut against her shoulders and back legs. True to her appearance, his back legs are a great deal more powerful than the rest of her; sporting dense throbbing muscle and a solid build. A thick tail follows behind her, sporting soft fur and is long

A triangular head with a narrow muzzle and neat, triangular ears completes his appearance. Her features are clear, distinct, and sharp like the rest of her form; a mix of browns, cinnamon's, reds, and and blacks, brought out sharply by her eyes. Her complexion is beautiful, in a dark intense fashion. Her eyes are a clear, crisp green. They are, simply put, the exact color of leaves on a mild Newleaf day.

Smallfoot's fur is short, hugging her angular hard figure tightly and boasting the strength of her back legs.

Personality;;

Quiet. To sum it all up in a nutshell, Smallfoot just simply doesn’t speak. It’s not that she can’t - she chooses. Being the runt of the litter, she was constantly looked down on from both of her loner parents and her other two siblings. She simply remained quiet to refrain from bursting out in exasperation.

Smallfoot is patient and generous. Feigning boredom and such while around others of the clan, she acts majority of the time. Despite being in tune with clan life for the majority of her life, she hasn’t completely adapted to having so many other cats around her. So more than often she can be found wandering clan territory alone.

The other side of Smallfoot is a slightly rebellious, rambunctious side. The she-cat can sometimes be known for her short fused temper, and if you tick down the time until her temper finally goes down the drain, you're in big Trouble. The she-cat has a mean attitude, and icy glare that could make any kind of cat feel like they were a mouse, and she was the cat. In her other side, the she-cat is almost angelic, but when her temper is the least of her worries, she doesn't even know what she's saying, it’s like something overcomes her, but it's her easy-started temper, and her scarred past.

History;; It was dark. It was cold. It was scary. Her size so under average most predicted she’d be dead within the hour. Pulling through on what seemed like a miracle Lasana and her mate Claw named her ‘Small’. Since before Small could remember, she was looked down on in more ways than one, her other two siblings constantly picking at her for reasons she couldn’t say.

They constantly excluded her from their games, and Small simply sucked it up, figuring life was no better outside those crumbling stone walls that surrounded their barn. The young kit would constantly sneak from her nest when everyone else fell asleep to wander outside the pane door. Night life was her favorite. The breaks in heaven shone their silvery light down upon her dappled fur.

But her favorite was a large pale orb that seemed just out of reach, she’d lie on her back and paw at all night if she wanted.

It got larger and smaller by each passing day she had eventually noted. It was lovely in all honesty. You could imagine her shock and hurt when she realized she was followed outside by her two siblings. Without mother or father to guard her from their taunting words they taunted at her for her bizarre habits.

That was when Small drew the line. Turning from her old barn and wriggling through a small crack in the stone wall, where she left her cruel siblings and parents behind. For days she wandered the forests, not once opening her muzzle to speak. Casting glares or glances at any of the alley cats she happened to meet. They were all mousebrains anyway. They only cared for themselves, what to eat next, where to sleep next, and what to steal and how to do it.

Small could barely comprehend it all. Her first reaction to a forest just outside of the long stretch of barns she used to reside in, and near was relief. There was grass, there were trees, and most important of all, food. Everything and anything she could have dreamed of.

Granted, she was no pro in stalking a mouse of a magpie so she usually settled for an empty stomach but at least she wasn’t constantly in fear of her siblings and parents.

Her freedom was short lived, for on the third day of aimless wandering, Small was captured by a patrol of strangers. Fierce cats with matted coats and cold eyes. They were a bit edgy, but at home in the wilderness.

Since the kit hadn’t laid eyes on her own reflection in days she could only imagine what a disaster she appeared. The cats didn’t seem very hostile with her, simply taking her back to a camp, giving her food after taking her to their leader. Small always thought they had odd names, with two words etched into them. All struck her a strange thing. She shrugged that off by her third day in the camp. They had allowed her to stay on a trial basis. Small had no complaints though, perfectly happy that she even had somewhere she could even vaguely call home.

A week went by and the cats she met all committed her to memory as she did them. It was still strange being surrounded by others once again; she kept to her motto of only talking when necessary. Not from seclusion, but because she just knew this way the best. Upon the seventh day the clan then figured the kit was acceptable—Small supposed. She was accepted into the clan, taking the name Smallpaw rather than her short version of it. It was kind of nice not to be looked down upon, granted she still earned a few stares here and there for her size but they were easily shrugged away. She felt home.

Moons later, and hard training at that, the she-kit began to get muscular, and her size increased, although she was still one of the smallest warriors in Shadowclan. Smallpaw was given her warrior name, Smallfoot. She has worked hard, and has kept faithful to her Clan, and never wishes her life as a Clan cat to be over.
