Significance is a literate, intermediate to advanced Warriors role play. We role play with the five original clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and StarClan. We've been here for over two years and counting! We have friendly, knowledgeable members along with many unique cats to role play with. Come and find out yourself what we have to offer!
04/11/09 With the latest activity check coming to a close, it seems that we are slowing down before we speed up (hopefully!) The plot is planned to start after a few threads finish up and the gathering comes to an end. When that happens there will be a new skin, new images, and more! There are still high positions open so keep an eye on the side table and stats! 18/09/09 School's up and running, that's for sure! Homework, projects and tests have already popped up. Post when you can, anything is great. Now that the ceremonies are starting to come to a close the gathering that will start the plot is coming up! If everyone is able, we will have the said gathering next moon. 09/02/09 Congratulations to: Cedarclaw, Smallstar and Duskfeather! Faythe, Rowanwing and Fawnfeather! Breanna and Maplefeather! Tikker and Briarstar! Whitepaw and Littleleaf!... and Fernear and Miragesoul! All of these members and cats have been appointed into their specific clan's hierarchy. The clans almost have full ranking hierarchies! Great job everyone! Thank you to every member who has participated in the ceremonies and held the hope to grab one of these positions. We really appreciate it whether you got it or not. Now that the clans are up-to-date, the plot should be started next moon! 08/10/09 Congratulations to Heathclaw and Rustlestar! WindClan now has their new leader. Activity is high amongst the members we have but with ShadowClan and RiverClan in need of a new hierarchy we're in desperate need of more members to open the window of opportunity to more members: advertise is you'd like.. It'd help and I'd appreciate it :) Keep up the activity and enjoy the last few weeks of summer! 07/29/09 We planned on starting the plot this moon, but I think it may be tight with all the new leader and deputy threads. PM me your opinion! There's an activity up so go post! The summer is almost done but we've still got time to enjoy! 07/06/09 Yes, the new version is here! This plot will be on its way soon enough, you've received a PM about it. The money system is back, the rules have been updated and there are many interesting things to come with the plot! Hopefully the wait wasn't too bad, I hope it was worth it! Keep your eyes peeled for what's in store for Significance and its members!

Greenleaf is here and the land is definitely showing it. The plants and trees are as lush as the cats have seen in moons and the prey are just running from their dens into the cats' paws. The air is heavy and humid with only slight breezes every once in a while. The lake is swelling from all the frequent heavy rain storms.
Although this Character of the Month is played with by one of the newer members of Significance, we believe he really deserves it. This month, please give your congratulations to Faythe who plays this month's character of the month - Rowanwing! Faythe plays Rowanwing with a great deal of literacy, and he's a fun cat to be in a thread with. Faythe has a lovely way of role playing, and it's easy and fun to read her posts. Faythe, great job with your style of role playing and congratulations on having Rowanwing as this month's Cat of the Month!
Description: Briarheart’s dark brown tabby striped pelt covers the semi-muscular build of the RiverClan warrior. Although her body is a small kind of muscular her build is actually very lean, and with her short fur it makes good for getting her pelt wet. Her fur isn’t all that fluffy and neither is her tail, which makes sprinting through the water easier as the water slides off.
With the black tabby stripes creasing through the dark brown pelt helps her to blend in when she stalks prey and catches fish. Her paws are actually white, which some say clashes against her black and brown pelt. The black stripes layer over the white of her paws which is strange for most.
It is hard for Briarheart to hide her emotions of anger, but when she is happy or content, she tends to keep her straight face unless it gets too much for her. Most cats seem to be intimidated by her golden-colored eyes, as it sometimes is seen with anger or just plainly no emotion.
Briarheart’s pelt does reside quite a few battle scars from fights with the other Clans. When an owl attacked her in her apprenticeship, its talons left marks on her shoulders and a few knicks in the ears from its beak. A set of bite-mark scars rest on her front left leg, where another cat had bitten her.
Personality: The first glance at Briarheart and you can tell has the ambition to do what she thinks is right for her Clan. Although her ambition to do what is right for her Clan is amplified by what happened in her past. When she was a fun-loving apprentice, she loved to hear the stories told by the elders which caused her to be a softy. Yet when Feathernose told her a little secret, is what caused her kindness to drift away into her heart.
Briarheart loves to go on the raids that help her Clan, but when it is just a dispute about which Clan is the best just makes her disgusted. The only time she doesn't like a raid is when it is against WindClan as is because of what happened to her brother. Briarheart shows her ambitious and non-emotional side because she just doesn’t want her clan-mate to know about her push-over side, so she covers it up.
Briarheart can actually get very aggressive when her buttons have been pushed. She just hates to talk about how her mother died, as it brings back how she couldn't say she was sorry. Cats might constantly hear her say things about her mother and how she wishes she could speak to her one last time. Although, now, all she wants is for her Clan to be happy and strong, to be lead by a cat that would do whatever it takes to keep it safe. She really wishes to be that leader.
History: Briarheart was the first-born kit of her two parents Feathernose and Dustfur, also the sibling of Ravenpaw and Silverpaw.
Briarheart grew up knowing Ravenpaw and Silverpaw as her brothers, as well as Feathernose and Dustfur as her parents. The days she played with her brothers, she always wondered why she was so much smaller than they were, and why they became apprentices before she did. All she knew then was that she was loved by her parents even if her brothers had left the nursery.
When Briarheart became an apprentice, and got her mentor Stoneclaw, Briarheart wanted to train to be the best warrior she could. She always had trouble with her hunting practice and couldn’t catch as much prey as the rest of the apprentices. Briarheart did, however, become a very good fighter as of what her mentor said. Her world did fall apart when her father and brothers passed and her mother told her a secret she had kept so long.
Feathernose had told Briarheart that she wasn’t her real daughter, that Briarheart’s mother resides in StarClan and her father left the Clan to become a rogue. After the secret was reviled, Briarheart shut her ‘family’ out of her life. Never talking again to Ravenpaw or Silverpaw, leaving Dustfur confused as to why his daughter wouldn’t speak to her. Briarheart especially despised her false mother as to why she hid the fact that she didn’t have a family.
Three moons later, Briarheart was finally starting to let Dustfur, Ravenpaw, and Silverpaw back into her life. That is until Dustfur died of Greencough during that leaf-bare, and Silverpaw was killed by a badger in the territory. That just devastated Briarheart that she was losing more and more of the family she actually had.
When the past RiverClan leader led a raid into WindClan for more territory, Briarheart and Ravenpaw went along and helped fight for their Clan. Her life flashed before her eyes when Ravenpaw was slain by a WindClan warrior. Briarheart became so angered that she let her anger get the better of her and she had slain a WindClan apprentice herself. After her victory against her opponent, and RiverClan went back to their camp, she received her warrior name for the bravery she showed in the battle.
The day after her vigil, Feathernose had asked for Briarheart’s forgiveness. Telling her that her real mother Lilyfoot was Feathernose’s best friend and was asked to take Briarheart as a kit as she was sick and knew she was going to die. All this made Briarheart feel really guilty for being rude like she was, and when she went to go tell Feathernose that she will always know her as her mother, and she was sorry for the way she acted, she saw Feathernose chase a squirrel across the Thunderpath and hit by one of the monsters.
All she wishes now is to see Feathernose once again to finally tell her she was sorry for what she had done, and how it was affecting her in her life to this day about what happened.
Other: I shocked myself by writing like 500 words just for the history. And if anything should be changed, let me know.
